Earthworks for homes, sheds and builders

From a single tank pad to a 600 m² cut and fill. Kane works for builders, owner-builders and landholders across the Whitsundays.

  • House and shed pads

    Cut and fill on sloping blocks, imported fill when it's needed, compacted and finished level for the slab.

  • Driveways

    New driveways and access tracks, shaped to shed water, with the base prepared for gravel or concrete.

  • Site clearing

    Clearing blocks of scrub, trees and stumps so the site is ready to set out.

  • Demolition

    Knocking down old sheds and small structures and breaking out concrete, with the hammer and hydraulic grab on Kane's 5-tonne Kobelco.

  • Drainage

    Trenching and drains to get water away from pads, sheds and driveways.

  • Tank pads

    Level, compacted pads for water tanks, often done alongside the house or shed pad.

  • General earthworks

    All aspects of general earthworks: cut and fill, levelling, trenching, augering footings and placing rock.

  • Landslip repairs

    Reinstating ground, pads and access after a slip, so sheds and driveways are safe to use again.

Kane runs every job himself

Paradise Excavations is Kane's business. He's a Whitsundays local with 20 years on the machines, and the person who quotes your job is the person who does it, servicing the Whitsunday region in all aspects of earthworks.

Pads are finished with a laser level, which helps make the next step easy for builders and concreters. If fill needs to come in, Kane works out how much is needed and organises it. Builders including Sheds N Homes Whitsundays use him for their shed pads.

How level are your pads?

Kane finishes pads to within 5 to 10 mm, ready for the builder to form up and pour the slab.

Can you supply the fill?

Yes. Kane works out how many tonnes the pad needs and organises the fill and carting.

Do you work for builders and owner-builders?

Both. Builders including Sheds N Homes Whitsundays use Kane for their shed pads, and he works directly for owner-builders and landholders too.
